New female-founded indie brand, Oshen, has launched its first product—the Oshen Makeup Case.

Oshen is an eco-conscious lifestyle brand that creates sustainable storage products made with ocean-bound plastic—and it’s no coincience the brand’s name sounds like “ocean.”

Oschen says it’s the first makeup storage case made with ‘ocean plastic,’ and the case contains 32% recycled ocean-bound plastic sourced from Oceanworks.

Designed to hold up to 200 pieces of makeup and tools, it’s easy to clean, features a unique stand-up brush section, and is compact enough to fit under a countertop.

Tonia Krauser, founder of Oshen says, “As a beauty lover, I wanted to create a makeup case that proves sustainable products can be beautifully designed and highly functional. Using more sustainable materials costs a little more and takes more time, but it’s the right thing to do. And the end result is a gorgeous product that we feel good about.”

Oshen says every makeup case made prevents 1.3 pounds of plastic from entering our oceans. It’s available in Matte White & Gunmetal Silver or Dusty Pink & Rose Gold. The Oshen Makeup Case is being sold on the brand’s website, for a limited time.
